Can I track my mechanics’ work hours and calculate their pay automatically?
Yes. Red Repair uses two types of time tracking:
  • Job hours from invoices are used to calculate pay, so each mechanic’s salary is tied directly to the hours billed to the customer.

  • Timer hours are used to measure performance, showing whether a mechanic completed the job faster or slower than the standard labor time.

This gives you a clear view of both productivity and profitability for every mechanic and job.
What happens if a part used in a job isn’t in my inventory yet?

No problem. Your mechanics can add used parts even if they weren’t listed in inventory. The system records it automatically, so you can add the selling price and include it in the final invoice. You’ll never lose track of parts or revenue again.

Does the mobile app sync with the desktop version in real time?

Absolutely. The Red Repair Mobile App updates your system instantly, from the bay to the office. When a mechanic adds a photo, note, or job status, it appears in your dashboard in real time.

Does the Red Repair Mobile App have a view for shop managers?

The Red Repair Mobile App is designed only for mechanics, allowing them to view and update their assigned jobs. A dedicated shop manager view is available in the web format, so managers can still monitor operations and job progress right from their phones.
